Aurelius × Radix

I build instruments of authorship and sovereignty. Each one returns authority to whoever is willing to hold it.

Your past has written rules into you, and some of them you stopped seeing long ago.

Open source

Software I build and give away. Licensed GPL-3.0 so every version downstream stays as free as this one, and built so the claims are checkable before you install. Take it and it is yours.

Free software I make and give away. The licence keeps it free for whoever gets it next, and you can check what it does before installing it. It is yours the moment you install it.

Workshops

Rooms I run, in person. Each one is modular — the same arc taken as far as the time allows, from a 30-minute slot up to a multi-day intensive, with its own name at each length. Each says what a person leaves holding before anyone commits to a seat.

Sessions I run in person, with people in a room. Each one comes at several lengths — the same thing taken as far as the time allows, from 30 minutes up to several days, with its own name at each size. Each tells you what you will walk away able to do before you sign up.

Work with me

Work made to order, one at a time, and every one of these opens with a conversation. What it settles at runs from koha to set prices and a named hourly rate, and each offer says which.

Settling up runs from koha to a named rate, and the calendar decides which. How that works.

The work, by what it does

Some of this you can have from the bands above; the rest runs on my own hardware. Each piece is one I can show you working, and the reason the claims on this page are answerable.

Some of this you can use or buy above; the rest runs on my own computers. I can show you each one working, which is how I can answer questions about the things above.

  • A desktop application on three systems
  • A community events platform
  • A website and brand-kit generator
  • A resident multi-agent fleet
  • A booking and appointment platform
  • A published Android application
  • A self-hosted voice interface
  • A zero-knowledge credentialing system

Each one, and what it is evidence of, sits on the practice. The voice this site is written in is machine-checked too — that is in the colophon.

Where this is going

The ambition is the world. The medium term is New Zealand: a sovereign New Zealand, full of sovereign people and sovereign entities. The short term is everything that leads up to the national scale, grown outward one ring at a time, from the inner world to the family and friends around it, then communities and the region.

The rings, why now, and how it spreads →

How to check any of this

Every claim here is meant to be one you can check, and each part of the work carries its own means.

  • The software publishes its signing key with every release and builds reproducibly, so an independent build of the same source produces a byte-identical file. The permission list is readable in the manifest before you install anything.
  • The workshops list what a person leaves holding, in plain words, before anyone books a seat. 5 of them for Re-Authoring, each one a thing you leave able to do.
  • The made-to-order work carries a test on every offer page — the specific thing you can ask me to show you, before either of us agrees to anything.
  • Genius in a Bottle is in its initial release, with five to ten active testers. Each build is tried on Windows and on a Mac before it goes out, and its download page carries the fingerprint to check the file against.
  • The Wheel is live: open it and see what is listed today, and check any listing against where it came from.
  • If I stopped tomorrow, what a client has keeps running. It runs on hardware they own, from code they hold, written down so another person can rebuild it, and the apps are open source under GPL-3.0.
  • Security has its own page: the practice, the record, and an open call for independent auditors. Security practice →

Where a thing is still rough, its own page says so. That seems the honest way round.

Three doors. Any of them is a fine place to begin.

Send a first line — aureliusxradix@pm.me, and a booking link comes back with times on it.

Install BreathGate — it runs offline, and it is free.

Read about me — who is behind this, and what I hold to.

The rest sits in the nav: work with me · practice · possible · where this is going · reading · costs.
