I build websites for local businesses first and ask second. If someone sent you a link to a site with your business's name on it, I made that site for you. This page says what it costs, how it becomes yours, and what happens after.
What it costs
NZ$500
The site as you saw it. Paid once.

A care plan, if you want me to look after it. The price depends on the package.

Your domain name, paid to the registrar. In your own hosting account, the domain is the whole running cost.
NZ$200 an hour
For changes beyond the site as shown. The first hour is free, and with a few small changes it covers setting the site up for you.

To fully personalise it, depending on how clearly you already know yourself and your vision.

How it works
- Look at it. The link you were sent is private and kept out of search engines. Click through every page, on your phone too.
- Pick a look. Each site comes in three. Your link has a page where you pick one, choose a domain and a home for it, and save your choices.
- Choose who looks after it. You, in a hosting account in your own name. Or me, on a care plan.
- Pay NZ$500. Before you pay, you get a short written agreement that says what is included.
- It becomes yours. The domain is registered in your name and the hosting account is yours. The files and the copyright pass to you in writing. Your own photos go in, and you get a one-page guide to changing the words and pictures yourself.
Yours to keep, yours to move
The site is a set of plain files. You can move them to any host whenever you choose, and you can make the move yourself. You keep the domain, the files and the copyright whichever way you go.
The site sets no tracking cookies and loads everything from its own address, so your visitors stay between them and you.
If you would rather pass
Say so, and I delete the site that day. Until then, the page carries a line naming it a concept made for your business, so anyone who finds it can tell it apart from your official site.
